Role / Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity to join the IT and Informatics professionals in a rapidly growing immunotherapy company.  As a member of the Research Informatics team, the candidate will work closely with scientific project team leads and group managers to organize project efforts from project inception through training and support. 


The candidate will join the Research Informatics team and work with IT, Lab Operations, and R&D project teams in an agile fashion to manage informatics projects related to scientific data management systems.  S/he will be responsible for

  • communicating with R&D clients
  • organizing Research Informatics project portfolio
  • planning and chairing scrum meetings
  • refining project requirements
  • long range program planning and project scheduling

  • BS/BA 8+ years of experience in pharma/biotech industry or MS/MA with 6+ years of experience in pharma/biotech industry
  • Project management experience and business process mapping skills with a proven track record to deliver value on Informatics and IT projects 
  • Ability to work on multiple simultaneous projects
  • Familiarity with agile project management process
  • Experience managing vendors and contractors to deliver on projects
  • Experience working with scientists in any of these domains: antibody engineering, translational science, oncology, pharmacology, and / or immunology
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Desired Skills:

  • Technical skills and experience with scientific applications and systems: LIMS, ELN, image and sample management, data integration tools, sample registration, assay data analysis tools
  • Familiarity with concepts of web services and data integration a plus
