This is an exciting opportunity to join the IT and Informatics professionals in a rapidly growing immunotherapy company while contributing to the discovery and development of novel therapeutics for cancer patients.  You will work closely with scientific project teams within Jounce and develop deep knowledge of immunotherapy programs.


As part of the the Research Informatics team, you will work closely with IT, Lab Operations, and R&D project teams.  The candidate will be responsible for the development and support of information systems and processes related to

  • tissue banking & imaging
  • histoculture and immunohistochemistry
  • genomics and RNA sequencing data

As a member of this team, the candidate will contribute to the design and evolution of informatics systems used by Jounce researchers.  They will also provide continuous support and coordinate changes to these systems.

Role / Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Working with Pharmacology and Translational Science team members to understand data management needs
  • Leading cross-functional project teams to design and implement informatics solutions
  • Integrating data systems to provide a seamless user experience for the scientist
  • Developing and/or working with third parties to architect and develop solutions to fill unmet informatics needs
  • Training end users and acting as a subject matter expert for informatics tools



  • BS/BA 10+ years of experience in industry setting or MS/MA with 6+ years of experience in industry setting
  • 5+ years project management / business analysis experience with a proven track record to deliver value on Informatics and IT projects
  • Ability to work on multiple simultaneous projects with a variety of roles
  • Experience managing vendors and contractors to deliver on projects
  • Technical skills and experience with scientific applications and systems: LIMS, ELN, imaging, inventory, data integration, sample registration, assay data analysis
  • Experience working with scientists in the domains of translational science, oncology, pharmacology, and immunology
